Stand In The Light

This morning started off with a beautiful walk, everything was covered with a thin layer of frost, the yellows, reds, and all the colors of fall surrounding me. As I stepped out of the trees the sun was rising and its full glory bathed me in the light of the day at that moment is when God touched my soul, with the quiet glorious "How are you, my child?".

I wasn't thinking about God, I was thinking about what I needed to do today, the laundry, cleaning the house, going to the grocery store, the stuff we all do every day and don't take that moment to listen to God, I didn't have room on my list for him today, whereas, he has room for me.

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

The word of God is between me and God, it's not for someone else to tell me what his word means to me. How can someone else know what God is teaching me, how can someone else see what my soul needs right now, how can someone else say they know what God's word means to me? I'll stand in the light and listen to his word.

So will My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

Is there one true or correct way for someone to interpret God's word?

God sends his word to me, he does not send his word to my neighbor for them to come over to tell me what God said. The one true correct way to know God's word is between each of us and God. God has a direct line to your soul and spirit, I'll stand in the light and listen to his word that is mine.

Stand in the light and have your conversation with God and his word to you.
